Sheila Madai

Sheila Madai is a Mexican photographer, passionate about music and fashion. While growing up, she developed a strong relationship with music, as well as a passion for capturing the essence of the brilliant minds behind it. This would eventually lead her to work at Mexico’s top music festivals, such as Tecate Pal Norte and music entertainment companies, as well as collaborating with magazines such as Mutzine (South Korea) and Meow Magazine (México City). Some of the artists she has previously collaborated with are Elsa y Elmar, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard,  The Vaccines, among others. She has also worked as a music writer, interviewing American journalist Legs McNeil (Please Kill Me: the Uncensored Oral History of Punk), Noodles from The Offspring, and Brazilian-Portuguese photographer Andreia Lemos.
